Ghost Pipe Tincture

Ghost Pipe Tincture

This Ghost Pipe (Monotropa uniflora) was sustainably harvested in the deep forest, miles from any man made interference.

It is a whole plant tincture.

Only large clusters in densely populated areas of forest were gathered, always leaving at least 80% intact.

It was extracted fresh for a minimum of six weeks, in a BPA free glass vessel, filled to capacity by volume, using 100% certified organic cane alcohol provided by Organic Alcohol Co. out of Ashland Oregon.

Summer 2024 was an interesting harvest season for the ghost pipe. They began emerging early in the rainy mid June and were amazingly prolific until a month later where they seemed to end their season early in a very dry July.

**I don’t want to recommend dosage or speak on usage as I’m not a licensed herbalist, more farmer and forager. But there’s resources everywhere online. I find 7songs website is a good spot for information, I’ve attended some
of his lectures, he’s very science, empirical based.

On Sustainability: The Boreal Shop is committed to sustainable, low impact practices

• Everything grown is done so in a regenerative organic fashion
• Everything foraged is done in consideration to the ecosystem it resides in. Never overharvesting, using the 20% rule
• The shop is solar powered
• The packing material is repurposed cardboard, which may then be recycled
• The tincture bottles can be reused by you indefinitely
• The shipping envelopes are indeed plastic. I’m presently working to move away from that - designing forms and experimenting with growing mycelium packaging
• I collect and remove at least 100x the weight in plastic the shop generates from forests and bodies of water in the Hudson Valley
• Proceeds from the shop go towards creating a more self sustaining farm and growing nourishing food for the local communities
• All suggestions welcome
