Stinging Nettle Tincture

This stinging nettle tincture contains the nettle variety Urtica Dioca, that grows wild in our garden, which is surrounded on all sides by a hundred acres of forest.
The nettle was tinctured fresh within a few minutes of harvesting it, in 195 proof 100% certified organic cane alcohol (gluten free). The BPA-free glass extraction vessel was filled to capacity with solid plant matter and left to extract for a minimum of six weeks.
It was made using strictly the young top set of spring leaves. 
These are the most nutrient dense parts to use at the peak of when the plants energy is devoted to leaf production

• Everything grown is done so in a regenerative organic fashion
• Everything foraged is done in consideration to the ecosystem it resides in. Never over harvesting, using a 20% rule
• As of January 2024 all packaging is made from 100% recycled material, which in turn can be reused and/or recycled. It uses agal ink and made within the country. The same goes for the labels.
• The packing material is repurposed cardboard, which may then be recycled
• The tincture bottles can be reused by you indefinitely. Or given to a local co-op or similar org 
• I collect and remove at least 1000x the weight in waste the shop generates from forests and bodies of water in the Hudson Valley
• Proceeds from the shop go towards creating a more self sustaining farm and growing nourishing food for the local communities
• The shop is solar powered
